When I was an undergraduate; our lecturer told us a true-life story. Before he became a lecturer; he had a friend who does not like to use perfume. Fortunately for them, their boss traveled to the USA; so, when he came back, he bought different things for every one of them. For some, he bought laptops, tabs, mobile phones, bags, shoes, and clothes, but for his friend – he bought him a perfume. We all laughed the moment we had that, but he said, this is not funny; as that was the best gift anyone could give his friend. Remember, smelling good is a good business.

Perfume has been around since the time of the ancient Egyptians, and the art and science of making it has been passed down and further developed over generations. For thousands of years, fragrances were reserved for royalty and the elite. Not until the 20th century did perfume become more available and gain wider distribution, making it one of the world’s most popular luxury goods. An entrepreneur with a sophisticated sense of smell and style who wants to tap into the fragrance market can learn the art perfumery.
