How To Make Quality Shampoo In Nigeria

This is not the first time I am writing about “how to produce shampoo in Nigeria.” One of such posts is How To Produce SHAMPOO That Sells And Start Making Money

You see, Shampoo production in Nigeria is very lucrative; as you can make 70% profit of your investment (just let me know if you need help on this).

Last week, one of my trainee came to my office for an advice on her soap production process, and I must tell you; I was glad she is not doing bad. In life; all you need is just to try, and someone will come to your aid. Very soon, I will be sharing a post about her and her business on EarnBase.

Leave it or take it; shampoo production business is definitely worth consideration; especially if you are a woman.

So, back to business; “how to you produce quality shampoo in Nigeria?” Just give me 10 minutes of your time; as I will be doing justice to this question in no time.

Today, I will be sharing two separate methods of producing quality shampoo for the purpose of my Ghanian audience. So, if you are from Ghana, kindly drop your comments below to know which one works best for you.

Method 1: How To Make Shampoo In Nigeria

Chemicals Needed For Make Quality Shampoo In Nigeria

  1. Sodium laurel Sulphate – Foaming Agent (Measurement 1/4)
  2. Stabilizer – It’s an emulsifier (Measurement ½ liter)
  3. Sulphonic Acid – Foaming Agent (Measurement 1/2 liter)
  4. Caustic Soda – Cleaning Agent (Measurement 1/8) 
  5. Formalin – Preservative Agent (Measurement 1/4) [You don’t have to use all this chemical; 2 cap of Eva table water will do. Formalin is a harmful chemical; it can cause cancer if abused. So use with care – very small quantity will not harm though.]
  6. Colorant – as desired
  7. Perfume – as desired

Step By Step Procedure To Make Quality Shampoo In Nigeria

Step 1: Pour 8 liters of water (2 pan of gallon) into bowl

Step 2: Add 1 liter of caustic soda and stir

Step 3: Add ¼ liter of Sodium Laurel Sulphate

Step 4: Add ½ a liter of Sulphonic Acid

Step 5: Mix ½ liter stabilizer in 2 liter of water; then pour this into the mixture and stir.

Step 6: Add Formalin

Step 7: Add colorant to taste

Step 8: Add perfume to taste

Step 9: Package for sale.

Method 2: How To Make Shampoo In Nigeria

Chemicals Needed For Make Quality Shampoo In Nigeria

  1. Nitrosol – Cleaning and Thickness Agent (Measurement 1/4)
  2. STPP – Clearnniness and Thickness Agent (Measurement 1/4)
  3. Soda ash – Cleaning Agent (Measurement 1/4) [You can do without this chemical. Just add 1/2 liter to your Sulphonic acid quantity]
  4. Sulphuric acid – Foaming Agent (Measurement 2 liters)
  5. Texapon – Foaming Agent (Measurement 1/4)
  6. Propyl Glycol or Methyl Propyl 1/4liter
  7. Glycerin 1/2liters
  8. Formalin – Preservative Agent (Measurement 1/4) [You don’t have to use all this chemical; 2 cap of Eva table water will do. Formalin is a harmful chemical; it can cause cancer if abused. So use with care – very small quantity will not harm though.]
  9. Colour – as desired
  10. Perfume – as desired

Step By Step Procedure To Make Quality Shampoo In Nigeria

Step 1: Add 1/8kg of Nitrosol in 10 Liters of water to dissolve completely and stir very well.

Step 2: Add 1/4Kg of SLS in 2 liters of water separately

Step 3: Add the mixture in Step 2 to the mixture in Step 1, then stir.

Step 4: Dissolve 1/4kg of soda ash in 2 liters separately and add to Mixture 1 again, then stir.

Step 5: Mix Sulphuric Acid and Texapon together; then add to Mixture 1, and stir very well.

Step 6: Add glycerin and promptly glycol

Step 7: Add your desired amount of color and perfume of your choice

Step 8: Add Formalin

Step 9: Package for sale
