- Heater
- Boiler
- Stirrer
- Weighing Scale
CHEMICALS NEEDED FOR MAKING BALM
- Petroleum Jelly 1kg
- Paraffin Wax 100 grams
- Menthol 50 grams
- Peppermint oil 50 grams
- Methy salicylate 100 grams
- Turpentine oil 100 grams
- Camphor rectified 150 grams
STEPS INVOLVED IN MAKING BALM
Step 1: Turn on the heater and set the boiler on it
Step 2: Add the petroleum jelly into the boiler and heat for about 5 mins
Step 3: Add the paraffin wax and stir the two together until they are uniformly mixed
Step 4: Add the turpentine oil and the peppermint oil and continue stirring
Step 5: Next add the methyl salicylate, Eucalyptus and tincture of capsicum continue with the stirring
Step 6: Finally add the camphor and the menthol, heat and stir for another 2 minutes
Step 7: Turn off the heater and continue stirring
Step 8: Package ready for sale
